I'm a jersey nut.
From the early days of dragging my mother up to Carl Anderson's Lockerroom in Alexandria, Va., hoping she'd buy me a Darryl Dawkins Sixers jersey (she "made" me one instead), I've been fascinated by everything about sports uniforms.
I remember getting my first team-issued basketball jersey (that's me with the wristband and sweet knee-high socks). I wore the jersey home from practice, slept in it, and wore it to school the next day.
It was February.
Even as I moved on to high school and college, I was always interested in what I was wearing to play the games I loved.
I played hoops at the University of Delaware (actually practiced more than played), and my love for jerseys (and my collection) kept growing. Two years ago, I had my brother-in-law's high school football jersey made for a Christmas present. When I saw his face after he opened it, I knew I had a product that created an experience that was worth sharing.
Since that day, every jersey we've made has helped to recreate a memory: of a championship, a first team, a valued teammate, a cherished family member, or just a time when life, like our games, was simpler.
We're honored to be able to play a role in helping to bring these memories back through the designs you see on these pages. And I'm personally comforted to know there are others out there as crazy about this stuff as I am!
